-Supply chain management (SCM)

-SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (SCM)
     Supply chain management (SCM) is "the systemic, strategic coordination of the traditional business functions and the tactics across these business functions within a particular company and across businesses within the supply chain, for the purposes of improving the long-term performance of the individual companies and the supply chain as a whole. It has also been defined as the "design, planning, execution, control, and monitoring of supply chain activities with the objective of creating net value, building a competitive infrastructure, leveraging worldwide logistics, synchronizing supply with demand and measuring performance globally.

1.Supply chain strategy - strategy for managing all resources to meet customers demand.
2.Supply chain partner - partners throughout the supply chain that deliver finished products,raw                                                  materials and services.
3.Supply chain operation - schedule for production activities.
4.Supply chain logistics - product delivery process. 


  
-Effective and efficient SCM system can enable an organization to:
1.Decrease the power of its buyers
2.Increase its own supplier power
3.Increase switching costs to reduce the threat of substitute products or services 
4.Create entry barriers there by reducingthe treat of new entrants 
5.Increase efficiencies while seeking a competitive advantage trough cost leadership

-CUSTOMERS RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (CRM )                                                                   Customer relationship management (CRM) is a system for managing a company's  interactions with current and future customers. It often involves using technology to  organize, automate and synchronize sales, marketing, customer service, and technical  support.
>CRM is not just technology,but strategy,process and business goal that an organization must embrace on an enterprise wide level
>CRM can enable an organization to:
1.Identify types of customers 
2.Design individual customer marketing campaigns
3.Treat each customers as an individual 
4.Understand customers buying behaviors


BUSINESS PROCESS REENGINEERING 
>Business process -a standardized set of activities that accomplish a specific task,such as processing a customer's order 
>Business process reengineering (BPR) - the analysis and redesign of workflow within and between enterprises (The purpose of BPR is to make all business processes best in class

>BPR looks at taking a different path,suah as airplane which ignore the road completely

>Enterprise resources planning - integrates all departments and functions throughout an organization into a single IT system so that employees can make decisions by viewing enterprise wide information on all business operations
